Skuzzy:

We have a member that is trying to sign-up for the 1st time... he is having trouble.

"Hey i downloaded AH, then filled out form so they e-mail me my password, only when i click submit, my screen freezes? wth?"

Any thoughts?

The "freeze" is Windows trying to send the data to the registration server.  If he has a firewall or some anti-virus program running, have him shut it all off and try it again.

im running 3 fire walls, me and my dad share a connection but have diff hubs. and i was able to sign up flawlesly, mabey its there os fire wall, with windows xp it can be disabled , 200 dont have oen neither does andy other odler windows. but if there runnign xp , better disabled it, , all it does is allow thing sinto ur comp and not allwo you to do things out ward, trust me i know, my firend gto hacked continuisly until he disabled his xp firewall, then he was fine, i recomend a software firewall other than xp's build in one.
