Playing Il2 more and more these days and I noticed that you just can't bail-out from any speed or situation like you can in AH. I've been diving out of control at 500 mph and bailed no prob in this game...not very realistic is it? Making bail-out more realistic and maybe changing the effect of a succesful bail on your score would be nice...

Might even cut down on the P-51 and LA-7 usage.

We need better damage graphics for pilots hanging in parchutes first .

These are WWII aircraft being flown in 2003, so OSHA and NAVAIR have forced some minor modifications.
All aircraft come complete with a Martin Bakker 0/0 ejector seat or the NACES, depending on the model flown.

Also would sure be nice if planes didnt instantly vanish into thin air as soon as the player ejects.

BaiL? Does anyone except a total new guy bother to bail? Why?
(OK, I admit. It's kind and thoughtful to provide a chute as a target for the other players. But other than that.. why?)

I always bail when I can. Never really thought about it... a capture is 3/4 or 1/2 a death right?

I learned recently that its possible to run around on the ground after you bail. Imagine running amok on an enemy runway after the field has been de-acked. Collision kills baby!
