I don't have any experience in aging photos or toying with them. Anyone have any suggestions of what programs to use and how to best age them? Also, if anyone has examples of this photo being aged, I'd appreciate, thanks!
-
Here it is, sorry!
-
Any takers?
-
sorry, havent got an aging-programm, just looking at that beautifull pic!!
looks like a real good sqaud! if I had a Credit Card I'd certainly volunteert for that squad (hard tests to get in arent objects for me :D )

Thanks for the complements frank! Actually we are at the US Air Force Academy, it's a squad composed of only cadets here that fly AH. So no offense, we appreciate the offer, but for now the school is a prerequisite!
-
I understand.......
...like I said, I want to but I havent got a credit card, so dont worry :)
-
No one has any idea how to age this? I don't have any programs except for Microsoft Paint, any suggestions?

Consider it a loose aerial cable or refraction of the perspex canopy. As far as "aging pics"... I use PaintShop Pro7, which has a ton of bells and whistles, with the benefit of not needing to be a scientist to use. This smal sig was whipped up in a couple minutes.
Turning to a B&W print with 'speckling' for poor film processing control is easy as point and click. If you want to AGE the film, work with the colors to get half/tones, tin-type, or sepia quality, (that looks more brownish).;)
PSP7 is from JASC software.... They had a sale on last month with rebates from CompUSA for the cost of $20 USA...
(pic coming soon as I get home) :o

Man at work I got like 23 of them. Each one asking if I wanted to install MacroMedia... (shudders)
Couldn't add my sig pic to the previous one. I think Squadvid's pic is closer to 'real' camera look.

All very nice! Are there any other free programs, like Gimp, I couldn't figure out what I needed to do to install it. Thanks!
-
try looking for an older version of Paint Shop Pro, that's an excellent graphics package and can be used to do "anything" with pictures
