What size of power supply is needed for the Geforce 4 ti 4200 to work properlly.
Is a 300 watt good enough.
-
Depends upon what else you got inside the computer, how many Hard Drives, speed pf processor, and the QUALITY of the power supply. But yes generally speaking 300Watts is plenty.
-
A good 300W supply is probably ok. To be sure though, what are the rest of your system specs?
-
The BOX that mine came in said 350W required on the outside, but it was nowhere else in any documentation I was able to find (PNY Technologies). I went w/ a 350 anyway just because they were cheap ($40) and mine was 3 yrs old....

The lastest greatest Gforce FX coming soon posts min requirement of 350W. A good quality PSU is also very important.

If you have questions about your PS, tell us if your mobo is recent enought to support AGP 2.0. Amperage to the AGP port is important to run geforce 3 and above.
