I just got all new CH Pro USB comtrollers.
Before I got them I usually only drove the front wheel drive cars because controling oversteer without a foot throttle was just too much for me to overcome, espescially since I don't play RT often.
I want to be able to use my Fighterstick roll axis for steering and the right pedal brake for throttle, and the left one for brake.
I can't find the card that came with the game that tells what the keyboard commands are. I also looked all over the RT website and RT BB and can't find a list anywhere. (This kind of BS really makes me appreciate AH)
The controls sellector in RT does'nt make any sense, and its "directions" are not.
Anyway,
If anyone has a clue about any of this, please fill me in.
Thanks,
eskimo

Haven't you guys heard of kazaa?
Anyways why don't you use your stick for both gas and steering? That's the way I play it and I have no trouble with controlling the rear drive models.
Then again I'm used to driving rw cars in real life slippery conditions.. might help some :)

I bought my copy.
mrsid2,
I learned to drive on rear wheel drive cars in Alaska. When I left AK at age 29, I was one of a handfull of folks who drove a rear wheel drive car in a snowy mountainous area that was maintained for four wheel drive only. There was a series of uphill turns that I could only get up in a near full lock oversteer. There were only 3 months out of the year that were void of snow.
After 13 years of oversteering rear wheel drive cars on a daily basis (in the winters), I've become quite used to mostly controling an oversteer with my right foot. In RT, the powerful cars are pretty easy to spin if you are on the edge. I think I could do much better in RT, with my foot controlling the throttle.
BTW, I still drive standard shift rear wheel drive cars.
