not that you care.
1) Today, torque executed a perfect divebomb attack on a ostwind i was driving. He made a perfect drop, and I was sitting the the bomb crater. But, I did not die or even become disabled. I think this is incorrect.
2) The lancaster climbs fast and has a high ceiling? Is this correct? Otherwise, I *love* the lanc! I think its a beautiful plane and a great addition to AH, but it *does* seem to climb and have too high a max alt. Please prove me otherwise.
3) The FMs. Overall, I love them. Exceptions:
a) slipping is very ineffectice. Very hard to bleed E now.
b) Torque is nearly non existant. Take a F4u, zoom up to stall. The torque doesnt grab you like it used to. Same with Take offs: rediculously easy.. this couldn't be what the "ensign eliminator" was like.
c) Blackouts: with the new FM, i think a 1g G tolerance is in order.
So whatcha think?

Hmm....
I killed 2 OW's tonight using bombs for a Typhie during an "Operation Zigrat". Both times I split the machine between my pickled bombs, both times the machine went "Boom!". I also gunned one OW.

Yeh I've killed 2 Ostwinds in one run as well.
But, it is not possible to strafe them and get a kill (unless you're using anti tank, err, Hispanos). With a soft top like that, even the German 20 and 30mm should be able to kill it if attacking from above.
Torque issues, and stalls; agreed. DEFINITELY something ez mode about these.
Slipping, agreed too.
Increase g-tolerance? Well, keep it historical, don't make game concessions with this. Take Joe Average *WWII* fighter puke and see how much he can take. Probably not a hell of a lot more than your average 20-25 year old in decent shape. And I don't think they had good g suits back then. So, if this means g tolerance goes up or down, I am fine with it. If evidence for neither can be found, or if evidence is inconclusive, keep it as it is.
Hell, if you do a blackout turn, you WILL throw off a b&Z enemy. If you're fighting a T&B, it won't really matter assuming equal pilot skill, as both have the same advantage. Upping the g tolerance will thus make life for b&z'ers *even more* difficult. I am trying to get used to the new FM, I'm giving it a shot and maybe even saying "well, this ain't so bad", but it's not like I want z&b further reduced.

I flew a Lanc to A20. I put the 4K Bomb between the Goal Post of the VH, Some folks took screen shots of the big crater in the middle of the Still up VH.
I flipped I put 3 1K bombs on an Each of the other 3 hangars. 2 bomber 1 fighter.
I could see some evidence of the blast pattern outside the bomber and fighter hangars that stayed up, I got one BH.
I flipped again. 2 more 1 K eggs took down the Fighter hangar but the other 1K left the VH Still up.
Hmmmmmmmmmm?
There appears to be instances of Bombs not killing stuff?
Oh, in a JU-88 I dropped a string of 5 50Kg bombs on a Tank, tank sat in the middle of a string of craters.
Flipped repeated, killed tank?
Again, sometimes bombs aren't workig.
New occasional dud algorythm HT?

There has been mention of a sporadic hangar hardness Bug. HT is looking into it.
