Here, most 190 drivers won't fight and when they do they die.

Urchin can handle himself and Nath is dangerous in whatever he drives as well.

Hmm depends on which 190 and which opponent. I guess most 190 drivers know exactly which plane they can engage and which not.

And it also includes a big lethal ammo load, wich with a little practise works excellent in close snap shots.

The D9 is a perfect machine to stay alive

No, he's been around under a different name for awhile. However, his flying time has been greatly curtailed by real life obligations.

Rude: As far as the good old days in Warbirds goes, I would have to say Wulfie, Doom and Mo in that order. Df was pretty good too :D

Wanna know the big difference between fighting Drex and Nath?

Drex is fun to fight.

Theres huge difference in style one needs to use when flying 190A-8 compared to 190D-9.

190D-9 is very forgiving in AHs latewar furball arena. You can do many mistakes and get away with it quite well.

190A-8 is different. No outrunning and outclimbing from most main arena opponents at equal E state. If you make mistake and lose advantage you have to pay for it. And only agressive flying gets you away and mostly with kill.

One needs to be very good in manipulating E differences and timing of maneuvers to survive in low 190A-8.

Umm..what I wanted to ask.

Who is best 190A-8 pilot in AH?

I think its more interesting question since it rules out dweeb-nines.

After flying LW in AH for the last year or so I'd submit:

Urchin, Wotan, Glasses, Moot, Wilbuz, Heinkel, Daniko, and myself (last tour 19-0 A-5 92-10 D9 etc.)

Post by: Duedel on January 23, 2003, 02:43:53 AM: Sry Elysian but score (IMO) means nothing when flying A5/A8. The most A5/A8 pilots have a fairly good score and when i want i surely can have a K/D of 10 in my beloved 190.
The real skill is to survive in a 1 vs 1 or 1 vs many fight in these fighters and thats really tough. I guess Urchin is on of the few (Nath i dont know) who can FIGHT in a 190A and not only B&Z or make 1 or 2 turns and run away from those "Never loosing E Spitfires".

Nath is one of the best in the 190,aswell. He taught me many things in the art of killing shiny toejamstains, that young'n. :D

I prolly suck big times in 190's now, I hardly fly anymore. And when I fly I ride 109g10 since 1 tour now (trying to reach the level of hblair's g10 performance)

Post by: Kweassa on January 23, 2003, 06:43:10 AM: Japanese pilots Noboru and Kiyota are pretty awesome 190 pilots, too. They're usually in the Pacific time zone, and are very quiet fellows, but they've been exclusively flying the 190 for a very very long time, even before the D-9 was here.

I fought Noboru a LONG time ago and he put up an awesome fight. One of the better pilots.
