As my main system is down I have to use my laptop to assess the Net. I have a problem.

I have a Sony Viao laptop.
1.7 AMD chip
256k RAM
I think its a 'Mobility M-1' video board


I cannot play. I hit the login screen and it slowes down to an annoying speed and the screen whitens (sp), I can still see the screen but its washed out. Once I did get to the MA and my gunsight was a black square with the aining retacule in it. But I couldnt see through it.

I seem to have all the current drivers and DirectX 8. I have also deleted AH and reinstalled it.

Any comments or ideas?

Have you tried deleting the video config file and using a lower resolution  and/or checking disable paletized textures?

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you,you video just aint up to the task :(
