A man shoots a 2 year old for no apparent reason? Sick!
Still looking for a link, but in a Burger King in Pomona Ca, a guy just walked up to this kid, pulls out a gun and kills him. In front of the kids mom. No relation, no motive.... really scary. He was shot dead by police a little later.
:(

That is scary, how horible for the mother and family.
-
it appears that this toejamhead wanted to kill himself, but didnt have the balls to do it himself.
"He was fatally shot a block away from the restaurant when he allegedly pointed his gun at officers. "
what kind of sick MFer shoots a kid...
-
Yep... there are some really scary people out there. It is fortunate that there are so few of them and that most of us will never have any more intimate knowledge of them than an article that we read somewhere. These people allways existed and allways will.

it also happened in East los angeles but those bullets that hit him are strayed bullets.
-
luckily the cops shot him dead ...
otherwise on bbs in the future, say 10 years out, bleeding heart libs would be arguing over his death penalty ...............
-
I believe that stray bullets are still considered murder ike.

The 7 year old, although equally tragic at least had some sort of explaination. A gang hit gone bad.
The Burger King murder was just random.
I guess that is what makes it so disheartening.
-
Something that you guys might have missed in the article. Three others were also arrested for murder. It seems to suggest that this might have been some kind of set up job or maybe a gang innitiation. If it was simply an isolated incident wirth one perp there would be no other related arrests for murder. Methinks there is something left out of the story so far. Or possibly added in from a non related story.

You are correct. Intent follows the bullet.
-
why would anyone debate the death penalty for somone who does such a heinous crime .
The bastard deserved a more painful death than what he got
one with lingering effects on his family and freinds
-
I think he is misunderstood... Poor guy.. :(
-
News here is now saying that the guy was distraut. His wife left him, took the kid. After killing this total stranger he told the police and bystanders that he had killed "his kid". Wack job!
-
Here is a much more detailed story from the San Francisco Chonicle:

Horrible, horrible stuff. I can't imagine what the toddler's mother and father are going through right now.

Nice, using the death of a 2 year old to push your partisan views.
Real classy!

it a good thing the cops were on the spot...
otherwise in an effort to avoid bad publicity & the appearance of incompetence, the cops would find the 1st guy that looked like the perp - guilty or not - & try to send him to the chair. if he walked or conviction was later overturned bbs would be filled w/ angry pseudoconservatives out for blood

it's called reality ... 10 years from now when this idiot was set to fry, the libs would not recall the crime in the same light as the day it was commited ...
-
You can't really shoot someone like that enough times to do justice. In extreme cases like this they should reinstitute hangings.
-
It's the freedom of having a gun
-
This is sick beyound words.
-
So bug... would it be better if he used an ax?

You rank right up there for this kind of tripe. Have you been taking lessons from blur or weezle??? I suppose you have experiance in this field that makes you an expert. What a crock.
-
sez u - why do you think that the advent of DNA testing (which i still think is kinda bogus) has taken more people off death row than put them there?
-
it gets worse....(different story...but kid related)

Yeah u would have seen him coming
A gun is to fast and easy and u can get them anywhere in the US.
-
I can hide an axe under my shirt just as well as a gun, and I can legally purchase an axe in most(all?) countries around the world.
-
I blame the gun.
Just about any adult could kill a 2 year old with bare hands in a few seconds.
-
WTF kind of mother feeds a 2 year old McDonalds?
-
The gun is the fastest killing tool.
Otherwise our army's would still works with swords and catapults.
I's a high risk everyone can have em wearing.
no doubt
-
stop badmouthing axes - i love choping wood (even better: splitting)
-
Interesting study:
"5. A comparison of 14 countries in 1989 showed that although rates of gun ownership varies between countries, rates of homicide and suicide committed with a gun correlated with the rate of household gun ownership"
Killias M. International correlations between gun ownership and rates of homicide and suicide, Can Med Assoc. J, 148 (10) 1721-1725, 1993. Quoted in Marshall J. Firearm Violence and Ownership - A public health perspective, WA Health, Perth. 1995.
More gun ownership, more killings with guns. Just like more cars, more traffic accidents, I gather.

Axes just doesn't have a range of a half kilometer

Notice the Libs have already switched the focus of responsibility from the murderer to the murderer's choice of weapon.
Morons..........

Look... guns prevent 1-3 millon crimes in the U.S. every year. Yes... the availability may make them the weapon used in homicide or murder but... It can be argued that in the U.S. at least they prevent far more than they cause. U are of course, free to ban them in your countries.
Our country is different than yours and we are very grateful for that. Come visit for a while and then go home. Please do not become a citizen and vote here... we are having enough trouble with the women voting... we don't need any more effeminate socialists too.

^Your post reminds me:
Couple of days ago in Charlotte, NC a 21 year-old male went to his "girlfriend's" house and the girl's father answered the door. The 21 year old began beating the 57 year-old man with a baseball bat inflicting severe injuries to the man's head and arms(will require surgery and months of rehabilitation).
The assailant then left the father and began beating the teenaged girl with said baseball bat. The father managed to drag himself to a closet where he had a 12 guage shotgun stored. The father then approached the assailant and killed him with a single blast. The father will not face any charges.
Result:
Teeaged girl and father expected to recover, one less piece-of-shit wasting our air, and the rest of us don't have to listen to any Liberal whining and hand-wringing.
12 guage shot guns make excellent "peacemakers".........

...i wonder how many abortions AIDS prevents?
-
gates... I don't think aids prevents any abortions except in the abstract... The people most likely to get aids are the same ones most likely to get abortions so..... if they die of aids there wil be that many less abortions..... overall.
why do you ask?

I wish i had the simple kind of view u had.
That would make life easy.
