Title: Aces High 2.6, and - new hardware needed with new graphics engine?

I was thinking - if there are plans to tweak the gunnery/ballistics/damage models in AH, the new name for the game could be Aces High 2.6. But it wouldn't last long before 2.7 came out, and would probably get to 2.77 and get stuck there forever more.

As to the new graphics engine that is planned, will we need to upgrade our hardware in any way? I have an Elsa Gladiac Ultra VGA card and normally see 60fps in AH, sometimes 75+, or sometimes 40 when looking at a heavily damaged field. I don't think it would be Hitech's style to require everyone to part with serious $$$/£££/€€€ to upgrade just to play a game. But I'd like to know if there will be any new hardware recommendations.

I hope they target a gforce 3 ti 4600 baseline.
1500 mhz plus and 512mb ram.
