hiya I know this not the place for connection problem but I am getting discoed every half hour. It happens at time where i got to my target to either bomb, goon, or dogfight. Its VERY frustrating. Its great to see all these patches but man what good does it do when you cant play it. I have had this problem for 2 months never had the problem before with same ISP never change anything modems etc. My squadmates are having same problems as well. Man its very frustating not sure how many time i should say it ok one more time VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.

Please we have to find way to reduce this I know it cant be perfect but this is getting way too much.

I've experienced this over the last week and also before about two or three weeks ago. I got discoed twice yesterday and three or four of my squadmates had the same problem (also experiencing strange different warp effect on a few occasions). I just keep swapping from one ISP to the other and hope it has something to do with that. (with one ISP I did keep getting the message "Not Receiving updates, switching to TCP")

Scuzzy posted something about a major trunk between east and west coast being cut in Louisiana recently and that all the rerouting was causing some jam ups. I was recently warned about solar activity being heavy. I also had some weird warps and a couple unusual disco's last night. I took it offline. Not that this helps...but may be something to cuss/blame it all on.

Not slamming you so dont take this the wrong way. But your post isnt going to generate much in the way of a solution without doing a traceroute and examining the results, sending them to HTC or posting it here.
I know exactly how frustrating it can be to be discoed 3 and 4 times in an evening, but 90% of the time im willing to bet its isp related. I started in online flight sims about a year and a half ago, and have switched ISP's 6 times, because of connection problems. So just because you havent changed isp's, modems or anything on your system, dont think the problem has to be HTC's. I havent had disco problems as of yet flying AH "knocks on wood" but I do have an anoying problem getting into the main, pyro seems to think its isp related so I may switch yet again in the near future. You usually get a free month first time you sign up so if the new one doesnt improve things you can cancel it. Or borrow a friends or neighbours account to try it out for a while.
Good luck.

Yep, Sunspot activity is at it's peak this year - it peaks every ten years. The only good thing about this is that the 'Aurora Borealis' is more visible - still haven't seen it mind! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

This solution's probably too simple but the same thing was happening to me except every 15 minutes. I thought that was odd but I first thought it was some bad weather in my area recently. But it turned out that it was my connection settings - I had it set to hang up after 15 mins of idle time.
It's stupid, I know, but I fixed this only once before and totally forgot about it when I had to reinstall everything after my box when kapow! Sometimes its the obvious that gets overlooked.

I grew up jaw dropped sky gazing. Nothing like it in the world. Even lazer lights set to Pink Floyd doesn't come close. Ah, I miss it so!
