Title: Problems getting started

I just downloaded the main file and when I went to run AH for the first time I got the following error message:

The ACESHIGH.EXE File is linked to missing EXPORT DDRAW.DLL DirectDrawCreateEx.

I have no idea what to do now, please help

Make sure you get latest direct x or at least 8.1
You may need to update vid drivers but try Direct x first.

The game requires DirectX 8.1 or later, which you do not have.  Just upgrade DirectX on your computer and you will be fine.

I downloaded Direct X 9.0 and everything is fine.
