Title: keymapping
Post by: Mogi on January 26, 2003, 04:01:55 PM
I've just installed a new hard drive.  What AH files do I need to copy over to the new install to restore my key mapping so that I don't have to redo them all in the new install?

Thanks!

Hi
Personally I keep a copy on a cd-rw of the whole HTC folder. That way evrything is the same as before.

Just do an install of AH then copy the HTC folder over to program files. If ya do it from a cd make sure u go thru the new install and change attributes from read only.

To save just keyboard and stick settings you'll find those in Program Files/HTC/Aces High/Settings  but you will have to redo all your veiws, convergences for each aircraft.

I can still access the old install on the old hard drive.  Can I just copy the whole HTC folder over the new install on the new drive?

Thanks!

Yes Mogi,
but just make sure you do install AH first, then just copy HTC folder.
