Post by: spiegel on January 28, 2003, 09:17:32 PM: I just have to the P38 I was chasing in the caynons by 172 while I was in a JUG.. some great running.. bored me to death.. congrats on the CTD kill too must have been hard work....

now I can understand you running if I was in my Spit, which I get alot from every one.. but I get in a P47 once and am dumb enough to turnfight with anything that comes along and you still RAN!!..

I try to come on and enjoy this game, but it is so hard, I mean first of all since no matter what I do the connection sucks, with my pings jumping from 60 to 1500-2000, and 80%-100% packet loss... I still fly and I still try to have fun, even though planes will fly by me.. fire after they have passed me and are 500 yards in front of me, and I will get shot down.. I still ty to enjoy the game.. But when someone runs from me becuase I upped my BIG BAD P47, it really gets on my nerves..

Yah I'm whining too,, so I think I am entitled considering I have been playing for over a year and a half and have never said toejam about anything I disliked....:mad:

You can't fight them without worrying about them warping on your six, or hitting a completly impossible shot by not being where you see them at.

No, best thing to do is go find someone who has a decent ISP.

spiegel, get a new ISP.

Post by: spiegel on January 29, 2003, 02:41:31 PM: he just upped from the base,, so he had no kills and plenty of ammo... my connectiont never used to be so bad... it was gret a while back, but then HTC changes there server or whatever and my connecyion got as bad as it can get.....

My last post was just a whine I have been holding in ever since I started playing AH, I just had to get it out... Im just angry that no matter what I do.. I will never get to fly with decent conditions..... Everyone in MA warps to the extrme all the time... It's just as bad in the DA There could be just 1 other person in there besides me, and it would still be warpy.. really bad too...
I ask people too after my flights if I was warpy... "NO, you were just fine." so I cant be warpy... if I was waroy I would die so much....

Thanks rude the magazine has come along way.;)

most players(does anyone have the same problems? if so, whats your isp?) do not have these problems. That fingers your isp.

Get a new one.

P38 is about same speed as D30 except they keep their E longer thus decelerate less. More or less depends on how much fuel you have.

And if the P38 pilot is not half of a stick, you are dead Strange.

Spiegel, as far as runing, he guy does what he has to do to survive. Maybe he was short on fuel. Maybe he knew it was you and thought he would loose. Maybe you were too warpy.
No one owns you a fight, it's raging sometimes, but you have a plane with capabilities, what u do with it to land is up to his pilot.

If he had just upped and was low on E, then Spiegel should have had no troubles in catching up to him and shooting him down. If he was already Co-E or faster than Spiegel's P-47 then he must have been in the air for a bit and low on fuel, which would make the P-38 lighter and might explain why Spiegel couldn't close in.

Post by: 4ACES on January 31, 2003, 02:18:36 AM: Depending on what software you are running on. (Win95, 98) open a dos prompt and do a traceroute to http://www.hitechcreations.com. Do it several times. If your connection is constantly bad you should be seeing some large ping times on some of the hops getting to Hitechs server. If this is the case you might need to get another ISP depending on were you are taking the hit. You can at least call your Internet service provider and ask why your connection is so bad.
