Title: Have problems with Frame Rates Help!!!!!

This is the deal I have been away from this game for awhile and the other day I said "Hey I haven't played this for a while". So I downloaded, installed, then launched. I created my account and went to arena.  Then all of the sudden, Its like someone dosen't like me. CRAP FRAME RATES. So I said ok, go out and relaunch. Nope still crap Frame rates. Well I have searched and searched and cant find out why my Frame rates are crap. Then I think to my self, ah yes Win Xp. Hehe.... Well I reinstalled everything directx, and all my hardware drivers, boosted virtual mem and all that and still crap frame rates! The thing that really sucks is I quit back in December and My system was flying no less than 27fps, no lag, basicly an Aces High players dream. Well not so now. Anyone have any information that might help would be great.

You didn't turn on Anti-Aliasing did you.  It looks nice but takes big FR hit.  I use times 2 but my system will handle it.  Also, you said updated video drivers, Which ones?  I hope it isn't 40.xx series.  I use 30.82 and you may even need older ones for that older card.   You can also turn off clutter and change to SHIFT/F3 view when FR drops then back to SHIFT/F1.

mite be your tnt2 card,,there getting out of date now days and 27 frames a sec aint very good to start with,,with my old geforce2 im getting about 60 too 70<~~and over bases no less than 40fps,,you mite wanna update that card and get somthing new,,,geforce 2mx only cost about 39bucks now days,,,,and geforce 4mx ddr cost about 89bucks at 80 too 90fps on aces high,,,geforce 4ti4600 about 250bucks at 125fps

I've got a similar system, Doyle, but only a P3 800 and TNT2 Pro card.  My frame rates usually run around 25-30 or so.  

One difference that catches my eye is that I still use directX 8.1.  You said it worked fine in December... probably didn't have directX 9 then.  Any chance that could be the difference?
