I think it's a great idea but....

A much better one would be to let an NRA safety guy come in and lecture public school classrooms on safe gun handling and to have NRA (because of safety and organization) have NRA sponsored school shooting teams with say... .22 rifles to start.

shooting is an olympic sport after all.

we had boxing in school as well as after school target shooting... the boyscouts also had shooting classes.   We didn't shoot each other.   Todays kids do.

we had shooting and boxing in school... dowding and beetle and the girls  didn't.... you decide.

Don't you guys get it?  Guns are very bad things.  Bright Orange water guns are the worst of the lot.  One time, one of my friends shot me in crotch with a watergun.  I was completely embarrassed.  It looked like I pissed myself.  BAN THEM NOW AND END AWKWARD SITUATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
