Title: Help with these 'exes' after Hints & Tips

Hi guys

Carried out the excellent Skuzzy's Hints & Tips and I don't know if it's something else I downloaded or some of the changes I did but now I'm getting these .exe files running:-

dw.exe

PgMonitr.exe  (brings up a 'Connected' window that stays in the task bar but you can't close it unless you end it via task manager)

SaveNow.exe

Anyone know what these are and how to permanently disable them?

you need to download Adaware.  Savenow is spyware.  I'm not sure about the others though.  Google for them and see what comes up.

There all spyware get a spyware remover prog.

hmm, the spying bastiges!

Thanks guys, they must have been installed along with 'Kazaa'!  I've removed some already and there's a new version of Adaware that's out the 1st February.

If you must use kazaa, get kazaalite (http://www.kazaalite.com) .  Same functionality...no spyware.

And if you run Kazaa,..please take note of how it will effect your gaming connection.

Thanks guys... Kazaa is no longer on my system! :)
