SOB,

Clatskanie is about 50 miles WEST of Portland, roughly across the Columbia River from Longview, WA.

Directly across from Longview is Rainer OR, I am 12 miles west of the Lewis & Clark Bridge from there.
I live in the boonies, my house is approx. 1/2 a mile from the river, perched on a hill side, from my patio deck I look down on the river. Every morning I am awaken by the SCREEEEE of Hawks and Bald Eagles fishing for breakfast (this is where I learned about dives and avoiding the overshoot  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)) and I must nudge the deer outta my way to get to work every morning.

Gee sounds alot better than fightin' the 5:00pm Portland traffic don't it?
