- The F4u-1C had a k/d vs bombers of 3.79:1 with the Typhoon following closely behind with a 3.78:1 ratio. The quad hispanos definately ruled supreme... or did they? What fighter had a better k/d ratio against bombers than either of these two planes?
- What fighter was the only craft not to have greater than a 1:1 k/d vs bombers?
- This plane (fighter or bomber) will go down in scoring history by being the first to accomplish a goal many didn't think was possible. What is the goal and what is the plane that lived down to it?
- This fighter known for its ground support in WW2 had the second worst k/d ratio vs ground vehicles amongst fighters. Of course, the c.202's bb guns were impotent against the gv armor scoring only 1 kill.

answers (just off the top of my head):
1. N1k2, or maybe jug
2. C202
3. C47 actually getting kills?
4. Has to be the jug.

I was kinda hoping for a few more educated guesses on these. Also hoping to break a few stereotypes.

- The 8 .50's of the P-47-D25 proved a lethal dose of pilot and lead scoring a 3.86:1 k/d ratio vs bombers to lead all planes.
- The Bf 109F-4 didn't master bombers as well as it did F4u-1Ds. The Bf 109F-4 had a .92:1 k/d ratio vs bombers. The C.202 was next lowest of the fighters with a 1.13:1 k/d ratio.
- The Ju-88 managed to kill a C47 8 times in tour 10. The C47 returned the favor 9 times. Who says the Ju-88's guns aren't undermodeled?
- The pilots of the F4u-1D obviously could use some training in utilizing the excellent a2g capabilities of the craft. Those 6 .50's won't do much against a panzer's armor, but the rocket and bomb load should more than compensate. The F4u-1D managed a .23:1 k/d ratio against ground vehicles. The best it could do against any one ground vehicle was .6:1 against the M3. Keep in mind that neither the panzer nor M3 can shoot straight up.
