Title: Monitor Refresh Rate?

I have a Viewsonic A90f+ 19" monitor...

Site Specs say that max for resolution of 1024x768 (which Im running) is 105 HZ


default with new drivers for ATI 8500 LE was 65HZ.

My question is, what would be a safe setting? Ive heard 85HZ? any experts out there?

I am wondering because I recently read a post that read "up refresh rate to improve FR"

is this a true statement?

The higher the better. You should use 75 Hz as a minimum - your eyes will thank you for it. Personally, I run at 100 Hz. Refresh rate can impact frame rate, but it typically serves as an upper bound.
