Post by: FiLtH on February 02, 2003, 09:12:20 AM: Im really getting disgusted with CRS and their " 1 step forward, 2 steps back " way of running ww2ol. Has anything changed in this game since last summer when I played? Are there good events? Is pizza map dead?

Hi again FiLtH! :) Well, there has been another patch since the summer - details of which can be seen here: http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72499

As for events, the Battle for the Niemen (http://www.btinternet.com/~fulltilt/niemen/battle.html) scenario is scheduled to start next weekend at 3.00 pm Eastern, to which you would be most welcome to walk on. :)

Other than that we have SnapShots (http://events.simladder.com/snapshots.php) on Wednesdays at 10.00 pm Eastern; Friday TODs (http://events.simladder.com/tod.php) and Sunday TODs (http://events.simladder.com/tod_sat.php) (soon to be renamed due to the future new version of AH (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=77118) taking the Tour of Duty name) which are squad-based events and take place at 11.00 pm and 3.00 pm Eastern respectively; and the Saturday CAP (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=130) at 5.30 pm Eastern.

There will soon be a new SnapShot scheduled on Thursdays, which will be at a Euro-friendly time of 3.00 pm Eastern.

Also, between Friday TODs (approximately once a month) is the KOTH (http://events.simladder.com/koth.php), which is rapidly becoming as popular as it was in AW.... :)

Check out the Calendar (at top of forums) for details of what is coming. The TODs and CAP are currently on hold during Niemen, but SnapShots are being run in their place.

SnapShots, CAP and KOTH are all walk-on events, so feel free drop in on any of them.... :D

Good to see you back - hope you decide to stay in Aces High.... ;)

Helen laided out basicly whats been going on, and AH2 is coming this fall. its going to employ some big changes to Game, possibly the biggest being the new Mission Arena, something that might be pretty revolutionary.

The RJO (rook joint ops) Could certainly use your level of commitment and insight finding new ways to crush our oponets. IMHO this is something that would fit you very well. It would be much like the old days of B-land.

aaaaa... oh yeah... we got free beer too ;)

The pizza map is still around (I think) but the good news is there's another new MA terrain out just today. Dunno if its replacing pizza or just adding to the rotation. I'm not a big fan of pizza myself. Its just too damned hard on the eyes. smurfy even! Plenty of nice terrains and action in the CT tho. Hope to see you in my sights soon ol buddy.:D

BTW, the latest event is an AH version of Nieman. First frame is Saturday at 3 eastern. The VVS needs you! For the Motherland!
