I would like (as I'm sure many others would) the nite time much better (rather than logging off and coming back an hour or so later) if something could be done about dimming the cockpit lighting so that you could actually see out of your windscreen/canopy. As it is right now, the cockpit white lighting is way to intense for night fighting. HTC, please implement a light dimming option using a key with different settings and/or a red lite illumination option within the cockpit. Those who actually fly will know how badly an intense white lite in the cockpit during nite ops, hinders vision.

EDO with you on that.
I love the night flying, but as you know I'll usually log until dawn. The cockpit light is bright......red light would be great.

Love the nigthtime that is when I sneak my 262 out of the hanger and hunt for stragglers or what ever. :)) I would like it to be longer night time IMO.

These planes are not Pontiac Grand Prix's, i say we give em white lights and have em reflect off winshield =)... *snickers at red lights again*.. Thats what color lights my girlfriend would pick. :D :D

I would actually like to see a combination. How required each are I dont know. When I was doing my flight training to get my Private license we dimmed the panel lights just enough to see the instruments and used a red flashlight to look at charts, flight plan, etc... Since none of that paperwork is used in the game I would request dimmable cockpit lights, and maybe a moveable red dot to read the kneeboard. Another cool function but not required would be landing lights. Of course while my Cessna had landing/taxi/nav lights I doubt any warbirds did. Honestly until this moment I never thought about it. Just to quench my curiousity did any of the warbirds have any landing/taxi/nav/strobe lights?

I am pretty sure they had nav lights but they were able to be turned off. I can always ask my Grandad who flew PV-1 Venturas in WW2 if they had lights.

And runway lights too please (Smudgepots!)
