Please no whines that this is too easy, a child could do it. Because I have used multi terrain engines and found this the hardest one to use.
I appreciate any help that anybody gives me on this subject.
How can I place a field then assign it a field number and a COUNTRY.
I place the field. The pop up comes up. I select (Field 1 new) (ZONE 1). Then I place another field and do the same (Field 2 New) (ZONE 1). I would assume that this new field would be bishops, but when I make the map and build it. Then I go into the game and load the map up and it turns out its Knights or ROOKS.
Can somebody please tell me how to place a field-by-field number and country origin?
I have great plans of new field types and new methods of game play that I will post after I get these things work out.
I believe in detail in the maps and I make each and every road on a terrain for example though a program I have created to edit the text groupings.
Please any help would be great.

In the TE, go to settings>Field Settings
Alternatively (the way I do it), is to go offline in AH, then go to Settings>Field Setup

Thanks for the reply. I was about to delete the post because i just found that setting just about 10 minutes before.
But here is my plan.
I was thinking about a new way of increasing the bombing and GV model in aces high. So i came up with an idea about merging the large citys together so the field cannot be takken without taking out the huge city right next to the field.
Now there is another way of achive the destruction of the city without needing bombers. I have placed a VH right next to the City. The VH is a completely different field so it is abstract of the main fighter and bomber take off area. The other team can take the VH and start spawning GV's there well the VH is up. For the defenders to counter act this GV assult there is a VH at the main field.
So basicaly you got somthink like this.
R
U City City
N
City City VH
W
A City City
Y VH
So infact 1 field is actualy 2 fields. One for the main base, the other for the VH.
Please I am going to be developing this idea more can you give any suggestions.

Two problems with this.
First, I think that having two bases so close to one another would make the map unreadable. The A## and V## would overlap each other.
Second, I think you'll reach the object limit of the terrain very quickly using the large city for air bases. This doesn't apply if your map is very small.

Overall it looks pretty cool :) The tree lined road especially.
There's no reason I know of why an airfield base shouldn't have 2 vehicle hangers. I'd merge the two bases into one.
You don't think the City is a little large to be used as a town? I agree the current town is a little small but I think something in between the two would be ideal.

I've done this on a few maps. Heres what you do..... If you want a field to be harder to take, Place 2 cities with that field, assign BOTH cities to the same field and then remove one maproom. That way you have twice the targets to bomb before the city becomes available for troops. I forget but I think I did this on the Tunisia map at a few fields.

I bet u get a lot of complaints about Frame rates.
I've been placing my cities a little further out to help that. Also, you should be aware of placing objects accross vertexes. the object will likely not be visible, or may flicker. (i dont know.. I was just told it doesnt work)

Thanks for the reply guys.
I am making some changes right now to the field.
They include.
Bring the city closer to the main field.
Removing the 2nd VH
1 1/2 Size the city from the MA
More roads and Less Tress to render. <- I love roads.
I am adding grass to the field later today. Also i will post a picture when i am done.
