Title: Where is the microphone boost option?
Post by: Gryffin on February 06, 2003, 03:10:05 AM
Hi all, I recently got a new microphone, but it is too quiet, and I can't find the mic boost option. I am using win98SE with an SB Live card.

My sound volume panel looks like this:

In the examples above,  you can set you mic for playback or recording, ensure you choose the "recording" option for modifying your mic settings.

I normally mute my mic in the playback option, that way it'll remove any possible feedback.
