I tell customers how much money it will cost to fix their truck..
I tell mechanics what to do when what they tried, and it didn't work..
I tell customers, there is a problem, and it will cost this much more..
I hold the mechanics hand when he gives up, and walk him through it..
I explain to the customer even though he spent 6500 dollars on a clutch job and rebuilt trans it's not the shops fault the headlights quit working a week later...
I tell the customer how much it will cost to fix the headlights..and listen to him rant about how they worked until WE worked on it..
When the job is done as estimated, and the customer comes to pick it up, I explain to him that "No this is not let's make a deal" and no he can't make payments..
When a job goes to sh*t, I call the customer...
When the job isn't done, I call the customer..
