The section pertaining to the demilitarization of all former US military equipment has been removed from the Nation Defense Authorization Act. It seems that the letter writing and calls by the 10's of thousands to their congress persons has worked. Lets keep up the vigilance on this, as this marks the 10th year that it has been proposed. Thank Senator Levin of Michigan for continually adding it. Apparently he dislikes our nation's history.

Thanks for the update Bodhi.
I know we may not have agreed just how damaging this bill may have been to all the historical aircraft out there, but at least now we know they are safe for the time being.
