Title: Aircraft continuity in AH2

In AH2, I understand the different character aspects Bomber, Fighter, and Tanker. However, will we as players have the opportunity to be selective with regard to plane type? I mean, will we be able to be just " P-47 pilots" in the ETO and fly the razor backs until we have them replaced with bubble canopy models for example?

I guess this is more about, how much continuity will the player be able to control? I would personally prefer to be able to fly a specific type assigned to a Squadron throughout the campaign.
