Hello all,
I'd like to take this oppurtunity to introduce Aces High's newest squadron the 31st Fighter Group. The 31st flew in North Africa and Italy during the second world war. Our aircraft constist of the Spitfire MKV, VII (not yet modeled but we're willing to wait until the next release so no big hurry HT) :) MK IX and the P-51b and P-51d Mustang.
The virtual 31st exists and has existed for several years in Warbirds and has now expanded into Aces High. The link to the webpage below will take you to the webpage for the Warbirds 31st but hopefully soon will have a section for Aces High.
Our primary mission is to #1 have fun but our historical role is bomber escort. Any bomber squadrons out there that would like to set up some coordinated ops, drop me a line and we'll set something up.
We currently fly for Knights (just were we happened to meet to set up the squad) but have no particular loyalty to any of the countrys so I expect we'll be switching on some routine basis.
Looking foward to fighting with and against all of you.

He's flown with the 56 FG for two years prior to this point, and was a beta tester and trainer for AH before that. He and other old WB's 31 FG guys are now creating a sister squad to the WB's 31 FG which is under daddy=. Look out LW types, the neighborhood just got a little tougher:)

Hehe just kidding, welcome. :D But the other posts were getting kinda repetitive.

Welcome Sharky and 31st. Know you will enjoy it. Also know you can't be all bad after flying with the 56FG. ;)
-
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. And yes Frenchy you'll find that for the most part we'll stick to or historical rides. I will admit to flying a sortie yesterday in the F6F only because the only field within 3 squares of the fight that had any fuel was the carrier :)
Thanks again all

Spit IV, P51d. There are already alot of pilots dedicated to those rides, so recruiting should not be a problem;)

Welcome, I look forward to diving through your escorting fighters, flaming a couple of bombers and split essing away from your tender mercies. Unless you join you join the Bishops, which of course you should, (We're the good guys in this scenario. The Rooks eat babies and the Knight torture prisoners! :o )

welcome to AH 31st. One of the finest WB squadrons arriving in AH. Good things are coming :)
Sharky, daddy coming ? How many others moving ?

Welcome aboard!
I am part of the virtual 101 "red" sq. Israel, and we also started at Warbirds and came over to AH. Very much like you,
We fly the spit IX, spitV, and P51-D ( even though we ocassionally fly other planes also ).
Could be interesting and challenging to try a combined squad flight someday knowing that we fly the same planes .
BTW: we fly for ROOKS....
