One fix we definately need, when I fire off all tail ammo on my lead ship (or whichever) I need to wait until the lead ship dies before #2 & #3 ship true ammo count is available to me. I should get the ammo count for the bird I'm in regardless of the other 2 craft's situation.
Ammo count for all gun positions is slaved to my lead ship instead of the one I'm actually gunning from.
It hurts having to wait for the lead ship to die before I can kill those other 3 109s on my 6 :)

What I want to know is why the tail guns of a Lanc only have 670 rounds? My sources indicate that the true load for this turret was actually 2500 rounds per gun. So the turret as a whole should have 10,000 rounds fired 4 at a time.
The Lanc's tail turret was fed by long feed tracks running up the fuselage all the way past the mid-upper turret to footlocker-sized boxes mounted above the rear end of the bombbay. The tracks alone held 600 rounds per gun, and the boxes another 1900 per gun.

But im not sure you want the answer. This is an old can of worms
im not sure we want to open.
Afer all, the B17 G was able to carry up to 17,600 Pounds of Bombs! In AH we get a meager 6,000 pounds. :(

Bullethead the lanc we have has .50cals in the rear turret, it carries less ammo than than the .303's. i thought we had the 4 x .303 option but i couldn't change my loadout for it. Hmmm....i'm sure we had the option for it....guess i'm going nuts.:D
