Title: Can I use two game devices?
Post by: airbumba on February 10, 2003, 10:11:33 AM
Hi Folks:

I got a Thrustmaster handheld game playing thingy for xmas, and don't know what to do with it, can I hook it up to AH to act as a second game device? Maybe use it for views, since I only have a Wingman 3d stick? and could use the nice toggles on the hand held thing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi airbumba,
Should be no problem. I use a stick for ailerons, Elevator and throttle but use the pedals attached to my wheel for rudder.

To configure views on a seperate device I would assume you would do it through "setup - joystick - Select joystick" You should then see you new device listed in the middle window. Highlight your new device and select a device input from the right hand window then a command from the left hand window finally click "set Input".

You should then be able to use "setup - Stick mapping" to assign your button to an action such as a view.
