Alright you computer gods out there. I need a little help here. I have (second hand) a set of older CH rudder pedals with a gameport connection and a newer Sidewinder Precision Pro 2 (USB) joystick. I have an adapter to plug the gameport plug into a usb port for the pedals, and I've found some drivers on CH's website. I havent tried to install them yet though.
1. Will they work together?
2. What kind of conflicts might I expect?
3. Is there a specific driver version / name I should be looking for for the pedals.
I should also tell you I'm running Windows XP professional. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Assuming your OS is fairly new (win 98 or later), don't worry about the CH software. It most likely just makes other CH products work with the pedals.
If you plug both your pedals and stick into USB ports and make sure they are working in Windows, all you should have to do is set them up in Aces High.
Good Luck;)

I think the main problem is, I cant get them to work under XP. I've tried the analog (gameport) drivers, I've tried the USB adapter, and I've tried the both together. Nothing.

I use XP.
I can't fix your problem, but I can tell you what my (working) setup is:
CH Pedals with F16 flight stick and a throttle. THrottle doesn't work in XP; the stick and throttle are on the floor somewhere behind the pedals. I've got that stuff plugged into the gameport.
MS SW PP (the original), on the USB port.
For the pedals, XP recognizes the CH hardware, but in the J/S configuration there's a checkbox to enable the rudders.
Hope this helps.
