Title: There comes a time when...
Post by: Octavius on February 15, 2003, 02:41:57 AM: You're out with some friends and you come across THE MOST idiotic, uneducated, racist pieces of toejam you have ever met...

do you:

a) Argue their point with simple counter arguments and prove them wrong with ease... all the while trying to re-educate them in an unbiased, semi-eductated view...

b) Ignore them and allow them to continue making a COMPLETE bellybutton of themselves in front of multudes of people...

c) Try your best not to laugh without avail... causing the uneducated to begin physical motions your direction...

d) walk away...

I ended up doing a combination of A and C. I broke my rules for drinking: Never discuss (with alcohol present): politics, religion, relationships, or... something else... cant think right now.

Needless to say, the group of friends I was with ended up walking away with a few bumps n bruises.. was it worth it? No not really. handsomehunkes will be handsomehunkes and there's no changing that fact when alcohol is involved. There isn't really any point to this thread... I'm just pissed off at the moment.

the longer you let them continue the more people they 'out' themselves to.

on a simular note.

many people I know are outraged on sight when they see skin heads with their swastika tat's and such. myself I just smile and think "nice of them to wear a warning label"

1 and 3 are the same thing IMHO. Kinda makes 2 a moot point if they suffer from all 3.
