I know we have several members of law enforcement participating in AH and reading the boards.  I'd like to know what would happen if one of them came across someone with one of these:

It probably depends on the local ordinance, but is it possible the officer could give you a ticket for having one of these (the article says its illegal in a few states)?  

If an officer does pull you over... they cannot issue a ticket without 'proof' of your speed?  ie, you can ask to see the radar gun's actual readout.  I'd like some feedback... that scrambler thingy interests me.
