Title: dont move your controls so rapidly
Post by: Murdr on February 18, 2003, 03:43:18 PM
Why is this in the game?  To prevent stick stiring or something?  I only get this message when >.2d behind someone 'stick stiring' or evading normally while trying to get a targeting solution.  Specifically involving a snap roll.  Is it sampling the Y axis? If so why?  How can the  Y or Z axis be abused?  To me whatever filter is used for this isnt doing something right as it kills me only while on the offensive.  This never happens in any other situation.  So its not stick/driver/data/whatever you want to point to.  Just venting since it ruined yet another otherwise great flight again.

Try "dampening" your stick. Should fix it unless you are stick stirring. ;)

I am quite sure its all axises (x, y and z).   Why??... my guess is you can't move the controls that fast in a real aircraft.  Check to see if you are getting spiking in any of your axises, and add a bit of dampening to them.
