Title: Stamper needs help...

I know this is the wrong forum, but I thought it wouldn't matter in this case. :)

He's having problems getting online. When he clicks 'online', enters his password etc, AH starts downloading the SFMA terrain. The countdown finishes, but instead of entering the arena, the start clipboard comes up with the AH splashscreen (i.e. Aces High - a game by Dale Addink.... etc).

Anyone got any answers for this one? I guess a clean install might solve it, but I was hoping there would be a simpler solution.

Perhaps stamper could download the terrain without using the AH auto-downloader, and place it into the ah/terrains directory.  Sounds like some sort of time out error to me...

Has he reinstalled & put back setting that he already saved.
I one had a problem like that & it was my files being read only from saving them. It wouldnt let it auto update.
Just nead to get rid of the read only bit by right clicking on files & change to archive.

Thanks Airbull. That sounds right - he has some maps on a disk someone had given him, and I put them in the terrain folder not thinking they might not be from the present version. Doh!

I'll change the setting like you say, and give that a try. He can fly offline, so he can still practise his Lanc runs. :)
