Title: IDEA for the killer tree problem!

It's not much, but better.  What if instead of instant death, the trees could just take off a part of an airplane?  Like the landing gear?  For the vehicles, I am not sure, since they are still "planes".  Maybe collisions under 20mph would leave no damage?
