It cant turn worth a hoot. Its not fast and even a goon can outrun it. It doesnt climb fast at all. It doesnt seem to be able to penetrate the thick skin of the tiger. Any vehicle with a single .50cal can usually kill it (dont ask me why).

It can often take more then a single hit from a flak. It can destroy a panzer outright. M16s and M8s are no challenge (with proper respect given the m16s guns). With sustained fire upon a tiger it will get credit for the kill even if it doesnt kill it. A lot of dweebs will ho it without thinking.

I think the positive side out weighs the negative.

1.1k kills on half tracks and M8s is very nice. worst thing about it is the view though.

IL2's are flying bricks, but yeah a lot of fun air to ground.

Landing Kills in an IL2 is an achievment worth noting! Too bad I can't seem to ever make it back alive.. anytime I am in an IL2 there is an NME LA-7 within cannon distance to me..
 But indeed a fun challenging plane to fly!!

When there is a GV rush I always take the Il-2. I think I love hearing all the pings and knowing I wont die to the 1st burst. Straffing Panzers is also a blast in this plane.

Octavius loves the IL-2 as well, in the Scenarios!

Looking at screenshot made me curioius.  Can we adjust convergence for rockets?
