Title: WinXP flight gear setup
Post by: Dobe on February 20, 2003, 11:42:20 AM
I have switched to WinXP,and of  course my CH Products analog gear is no longer functional.what kind of throttle setups work with the MS Sidewinder,if any.I don't have the bucks right now to switch to CH USB gear.
My old CH gear needs a home.It all works fine, and will go to the person who needs it the most.It consist of CH Combatstick,Pro rudders, and Pro throttle.
I would appreciate any suggestions on a good XP setup, and no, the Cougar is out of the question.I see too many probs going on with it,and I can't afford it anyway.

I took a very nontraditional approach, but it wasn't very expensive and I LOVE the results. I use the Thrustmaster "Tacticalboard" with my left hand, and mate it up with the Logitech Wingman joysticks as described here:

Thanks Peabody.I checked at the Thrustmaster site, and that product is back ordered, with no date set for when they'll be available.

Ok thanks to all who replied.I messed around and found out my Ch Pro throttle will work in Win XP,but I have to program it in Win98..I have dual boot system. So to all you old analog people,it can work, just have to tweak it.
So all I have to give to a good home now are the Peddles and joystick.
