I'm 95% sure on the identity of the smaller one. The larger one is a mystery to me. I can give a bonus point to anyone naming the location though.
Hehe. I know what they both are now. 100% positive

Almost added a clue. Don't want to make it too easy though.... :)

My guess on the second one is the new HMS Ark Royal. Just a guess. Nothing but a guess.

They must be French carriers, there's a arrow pointing towards the front (just so there's no confusion). :D :D

The one on the right is the Foch.
-
On the left it's the Minas Gerais (ex- HMS Vengeance) on the right it's the Sao Paulo (Ex - Foch).
BTW ... it's the first time I ear someone refering to the Foch as "the big one":D

Deux points Frenchy. :)
I guess everyone that said Foch can have a point too. :)
HMS Vengeance keel layed down in 1942 BTW. Served briefly in the med during early 1945. It was in service for over 60 years with 3 navies. Apparently it has now been bought by the Chinese for $2million, they are going to turn it into a floating shopping complex!
The Brazillians even wrote songs about the Minas Gervais, I thought this was funny :)
The irreverent song, known as “O Brasil Já Vai à Guerra” went like this (translated):
Brazil is ready for war
it bought an aircraft carrier
long live England
82 billion (cruzeiros)
ah, they’re such thieves
The little people comment
what a manly government
poor, oh little poor Bank of Brazil
ha, ha, almost broke
The proletarian class
could certainly eat
with the money spent daily
in such trinket
which has no use
A few good idiots
applaud the measure
and the foodless people
listen to the baloney
of the patriots
There’s, however, a question
whose aircraft carrier is this
it’s mine, says the Navy
it’s mine says the Air Force
ah, revolution
Brazil, adored country
bought an aircraft carrier
long live England
82 billion (cruzeiros)
ah, such thieves are they
I wonder if they'll write on e about the Foch? :)

Has it seen a major refit, or is it a WWII-era carrier with an angled flight deck? I always thought angled flight decks came around when carrier-based jets became the norm.
