Title: Player perspectives
Post by: barfo on February 23, 2003, 11:11:06 AM
Hello: has anyone asked for this yet? I have a request for a future version of Film Viewer that I feel is a VERY USEFUL feature -

The ability to switch players and see the enemy in flight. I realize that the "telemetry" for each plane might yield a limited amount of recorded info for an enemy plane since it wasn't meant to be used this way, but, hey, it doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch to allow the viewer to see the enemy's point of view during a recorded dogfight.

Wouldn't this be useful when a student pilot wants to see how the enemy shot him/her down so many times? I sure would like to see how I look from the enemy's point of view when I get shot.

Hoping this suggestion is considered,
Barfo

Oh my goodness...I didn't know my request was already *reality*. That's great news!!

Thanks a lot.

(quite frankly) I mistakenly underestimated the power of the film viewer.. my appologies!
