ZoneAlarm. Free and super easy.

How about hardware firewalls? Any good?
-
yes. usually much more reliable than software only firewalls.
-
seagate is free and I've had no problems with it.

I use a Linksys 4 port router and I am happy with the firewall incorperated in it.

I recently hooked up a Linksys 4 port router. Installation was very simple and I didn't have to adjust anything for AH play.

Terve,
Thanks for your feedback.
Im still waiting new ADSL connection, so I have tons of time planing a two PC home network with shared internet connetion using hardware firewall & switch.
One thing worried me a bit. My wife like to look streams from internet: news, reality show etc. How this could effect my AH playing? Nothigh but LAG?
Is it possible split and fix aviable bandwidth for two PCs (IPs) with hardware firewall & switch?

KERIO, the best free firewall. No so easy to configure as ZoneAlarm, but far more better.

Used to use Zonealarm. Switched to Tiny about 1 or so ago. It's also free and works just fine.

I use a Netgear RP-614 4 port router/firewall. It only does basic Network Address Translation, but since I put it up, I haven't had any hits from ZoneAlarm. Was running them in tandem while the router was under observation.....
The hardware router allows me to share the cable modem connect with the other half....which does wonders for domestic tranquility and promotes more flight time :D

I use Norton's firewall . Never shut it off while playing and have had no problems at all. Also updates at least once a month. Rhink you buy it for around $30.

Sygate is free, easy to use, leakproof, and no conflicts with AH.
