I've been trying to setup a couple of macros like "/.squelch 1" on my HOTAS (using CtrlManager), but it seems it does not recognise the Slash or dot character (Gives me an error message).
I havent't found the substitutes/references to these characters (IE: 'ENTR' for the 'Enter' key).
As anyone manage to get this done ?
Cheers,

eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Those belgian are really weird :D
a part ça j'ai lu qlq part qu'il y avait une nlle version (la 2 je crois) du control manager CH

It works like a charm.
1) select the button you want to program.
2)clear ALL keyboard refrences in that line
3)right click in that area line.
4)select the LAST line in the panel, I think it says key strokes.
5)then type the command necessary.
6)hit EXIT.
7)then SAVE
This will work.:)

Straffo, dear... YOU are the one seeing weird things in MY text, I was merily asking a technical question :)
I am running CtrlManager Version 2.8 (i think, I'll have to check home)
s-eagle, this is how I did it, however it told me that both "/" and "." characters could not be recognised :( (I did remove the DirectInput thingie, tried the command line in both fields => onPress & OnRelease)

I have a command in my CNTRL MGR V 2.0 the latest, as follows:
/.ef ENT on the top line only. It works fine, there must be
configure problems in your mgr.
When I activate the button on my stick it responds to the
exit to tower command.
Check to see if you D/L the program after you have removed the former Cntrl mgr.
That's it, I know I can use any keys and have it recognized by cntrl mgr. If it's on the keyboard it will work in cntrl mgr.

thx Eagle, I'll try again when I get home & post my hopefully success here :)

If you need any assitance to further the correct application
let me know, I had a similar problem till CH TECH guys showed me the way. I have been using this program since it's inception,
the previous program was the Speed Keys, the present one is much easier to program, it is important to follow the original upgrade procedure to V 2.0.
Good luck & enjoy.

Ok, My upgrade was long due, as I was not runing 2.8, but 0.8 :D
I now upgraded to v2.0 (with all the unplugging/replugging dance).
Same error message, but this time I took my camera out!

I am a stupid Schmuck, I needed to add spaces between each character, works now. Thanks for the advice :)
