Title: Question for our friends at HTC (or anyone else for that matter)

I've been interested in finding out the engine settings that would yield the best fuel economy for awhile now.  So in preparation for the upcoming scenario I was going to try and test out the F4F-4 and SBD's, etc.  

My question is this; if I could get my hands on the pilots manuals for some of these planes and if they contained infomation on the best cruise settings,  would that information hold true in Aces High?


If not I get to run some tests I suppose, just looking for possible shortcuts like always. :)

It should.  It certainly works for planes like the P-51 or F4U.  Can't hurt to try  :)

Soulyss I might be able to help you out with the pilot manuals. A couple of guys in our squadron have various Navy Pilot Manuals. I will ask and see what I can find.

I`d be interested in those manuals myself. Maybe if they could be scanned and zipped, I`m sure lots of the players would like to see them.
