Looks a bit like a Morane-Saulnier M.S.406, but somewhat modified. Anyway buttugly.

Well, it is French. It lost out to the Dewoitine D.520 for production.

Hmmm, this one may have been too tough.
This is the CAO 200. It was built to meet a specific French requirement. It fell well short of its competition. It used welding extensively in its construction
