I love it when Spit IXs try to HO my 190A8.  Other than that, I think the Allied side will be decidely lopsided.

SpitIX matches up quite well with the 109G6.

Ripsnort, not to mention the C.205 will give any Spit a run for it's money.

Also note I didn't enable the A8. Didn't see action til early 44.

LW doesn't have A8's... they get A5's.

And the planeset is very lopsided (cough *spit9* cough)

Uhhhhhh... NO. If you're actually going to FIGHT the spit, not just bore 'n zoom, there is no contest. The spit9 is much better. It turns better, handles better sub-200mph, zoom climbs just as well, accelerates almost as well, and its firepower is better.

Did I forget to call it a UFO?

Argh. You're right.  Only get about 2 seconds of A8, and then the ammo runs out and its an A5.

Spit IX is going to bring a lot of the new guys over from the MA, which I guess is good.  Too bad the skies will be full of Spit IXs when I take my 109 into the baitball. Spit IX will outgun and outturn all of the 109s and 190s and probably the 205s, too.  But hey, I could use the experience flying for the underdog and maybe the set isn't as lopsided as I think it is.  At least the Allies don't have the Dstangs and only the early model t-bolt.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a WW2 documentary made about this operation.  The operation was "Operation Strangle" and the film was "Thunderbolt!".

Since this is an ahistorical CT, why don't you bring in a N1k on loan from the empire to even out the spit 9?

Otherwise, Allies are going to have both the most maneuverable plane(Spit9) and the fastest by far(P-51B).

It's an M&Mer baby!  A mismatch from the word go.  Better get a TO baby!  The 51 is a real high flier while the Spit 9 can really handle the rock.  Allies v. Axis is gonna be like my Dukies v. Bo Didly Tech.

Sorry, gearing up for NCAA's

GO MU Tigers!
