Will the Swiss wrap it up today?  If they race, I say yes.  Poor New Zeland has to contend with a new mast.  Think TNZ will be tuning it as they race!!:(

the NZ boat is so finely tuned that in order to win NZ need winds betwen 14.3 and 15.8 mph, less than that they are too slow , more wind and the boat falls apart.

so much R & D was put into the "hula skirt" they didn't have time to build a good rig for the boat.

one broken boom
one broken batten
one broken mast
one blown out jib
boat floods when heeled

These things should have all been detected and cured long before the cup races even started.  I mean they had 3 years to design and iron out any problems!!  

I just don't understand why they, NZ, don't have the fastest boat around.  There is no excuse to have a DNF let alone two DNF's!!

Will cheer for NZ just so this isn't a blowout.  Would like them to win at least 3 races so they can hold their heads high:)

Thats the beauty of cup defense... it's like a cup summer in newport 15 years ago; all over again.

the challenger weathered the trial by fire of the Vuitton Cup and they are on the top of their game.. hot toejam boat; tuned boat, tuned crew.. and the defenders get into mental masturbation with their trial horse boat for 3 months and are caught flat footed with the wrong boat for the conditions against a skipper that knows his capabilities, training and tactics exactly.

the kiwi's without a doubt know the score.. l'm lookin forward to some fancy sailin tonight... he's gonna have to be hot, fast, aggressive and unpredictable. ;)

Yep hes going to have to out smart his teacher!!!:D   Swiss leading and they were the underdog at the beginning. If the cup cant come back to U.S, then let it bounce around others countrys till it finds it way home again.:)
