Does anyone know how to turn this off so I can Uninstall it?

I cant find it anywhere in my files.....must be a hidden exe or something?

I HATE THE POP UP AT START UP!!!:mad:



anyone familiar with this? Im running Win2K

Heh mirc chat client is not supposed to pop up on startup.

Probably you have a backdoor on your computer and the hackers are using irc as a means to control your computer.

hmm.. I've used mIRC for years and even written a few scripts for it (including a rockin floodprot :D ), and I don't ever recall any options for it to start at boot up.

What version?

Check your startup folder on Start>Programs>Startup
or search through yer registry for the run and runonce keys and see if it's there.
