-
This was taken a couple of years ago. The first tourney of the season was a couple of weekends back and the first local tournament is in 10 days.
-
playing in a sandbox is weird!
-
hey look its clearwater beach, i hate that place. lived there for 6 miserable years. The picture makes it look good but it dosnt show clearwaters true self. White trash and lots of them.
-
Why is AZ the best place to live? Because I can go from 80degrees and the pool to 3 feet of snow in 2 hours.
Sledding with my wife and step-daughter near Strawberry, AZ this weekend. (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/jlheard3/lst?.dir=/Sledding+at+Strawberry&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/)

better to live in hawaii, 75-80 all year round.

Good eye!
The white trash is to the left about a hundred yards. The beautiful people come out around the volleyball nets, then scatter after sunset. I'm only there on weekends to play v-ball. As for hating Clearwater Beach, I hate that roundabout and everything it stands for. What a waste of money by an egotistic fool enabled by a poor system of checks and balances in CB's political system. Over in Tampa, we're still laughing at those idiots on the other side of the causeway.
-
actually the roundabout works alot better then the old system. i lived with it for 3 years and traffic got so much better after it was put in place and was established. its even better now that they took out the fountain. It does look stupid, but trust me the traffic used to be alot worse.
-
Texas has been colder than Oregon this winter. So they'll have to keep out of this one.
I liked the weather in Hawaii, but don't think I could deal with it being so monotonous. Oh well, a boring day in paridise...

It was 80 Degrees and Deep Blue skies today IN FL..
Chatted with a gentleman in Canada who confessed to me that it was -23 where he was... I talked him into flying down next month
for a training class...Very easily I might add once I explained the temperature...
-
No palm trees but howabout this...lol

As Bob Barker says, "Come on down"!
Hold off until April/May/June though, would be my recommendation.
-
sounds about like the right time of year for me!

Freezing here today.
was 41 when I left for work, and the high only reached 62.... brrrrrrrrrrrr

I live in Texas and we have had some colder weather this year in the DFW area. At least I have been traveling here about every month on business. I was there 1.5 weeks ago and am heading back week after next. Things were already heating up for Carnival.
-
I live in the Chicago area and like Octavius says-it is kinda cold here right now:)
But this made me think about 2 summers ago when my sister got married in the Dallas area in July, my wife and I drove down to take a week vacation and made several stops on the way. When we finally arrived, the thermometer in the car said it was 115 Degrees, lol, We both figured it was just so hot that the thermometer wasn't registering right.
As we got out of the car at my sisters house, My Wife exclaimed--Jeez, it is Africa Hot Here !! ---How the Hell can you stand it? lol
I know that in about a month or two it will be comfortable here and downright miserable there --I don't mind lol

Hey, great! There's a tournament here on the 13th, then again on the 15th and 16th, so you'll get to see the hottie babolicious athletic girls in bikinis. I'll be the short guy covered in sand, sweat, and sunscreen trying to compete past my prime.
-
ugh why would anyone want to pay to go to that cess pool. the gulf of mexico is like one big stagnet retention pond. water just sits there and dosnt move. if your comming to florida at least go to a real beach, miami.
-
You bastards... I hate you all.
I dont think we've had a blue sky in months.
Used to live in Chicago - while was cold, the sky was blue - in the northeast the skies in the winter are ALWAYS GREY! Depressing as hell... grey sky, dead trees, dead grass...
Grey when you wake up, grey when you go to lunch, grey when you get home, grey when you eat dinner, black when you go to sleep.... repeat.
Ive got a buddy going to grad school down in Hawaii... might be time to pay him a visit.
-
Miami?
Habla espanol? No? Then stay away from Miami. ;)

If you think Clearwater is bad, stay away from Tampa. Personally, I like Clearwater and the Gulf - its warmer than the Atlantic coast water.
Miami is a cool place to be. So is Daytona Beach. Key West sand is coral-based, so its packed like concrete an inch from the surface. Clearwater has a big beach with white powdery sand, unlike the Atlantic coast beaches which tend to be a bit browner (and thereby hotter). For Spring Break party madness, the best is Ft. Lauderdale with Daytona a close second. I slept in the front seat of a VW van in a Ft. Lauderdale parking lot for Spring Break when I was in college.
-
It's not only cold here in Chicago, but we're expecting a nice 6" - 8" of snow tonight. WoooHoo! Nwbie, I hope you have some gas for the snowblower.

LOL..
Our tourism minister was unaplogetic about that ad campaign, even after the New York Times ran a big story about it. She is using the old "Any publicity is good publicity" logic.
I am composing a letter to the Editor now suggesting that we advertise international business along the same lines. Something like "Bermuda has given the IRS, Inland Revenue, and Revenue Canada the freedom of inspection of all company and Trust records."...then say.."Nah...just kidding, we don't allow that"..when all of the questions start pouring in. Based on her logic that would work well...based upon common sense it would be tantamount to waving a big fat juicy steak at a tiger while you are sitting INSIDE his cage.

i just dont like clearwater beach because i lived on it for 6 years(ie spoiled rich kid). yea i know tampa is bad, im going to USF right now.
