JG-3 UDET "UDET's DRACHEN" IS NOW RECRUITING
Tired of the same old mindless "furballing"? Ready for someting different? Want to fly as part of a TEAM? Then JG-3 might be for you. We are looking for a few dedicated sim pilots that really like to fly, have an intrest in WW2 Avaition and are interested in flying each sortie as "realisticly" as possible. We are looking for people who would like to actively participate in running the squad whether it be taking leadership positions or with technical or operational support. We are also looking for people who just want to fly and have a good time weather you are an "Ace" or a "Newby".
We are to be an "ALL AXIS - ALL THE TIME" squadron. We will fly the German planes when available and the Japanese planes in the PTO scenarios to help out the CT. We will do this till the numbers for the Japanese come up in the set-ups.
The JG-3 will operate using the MISSION PLANNER for every mission that is practical. Our principal mounts will be a mix of the ME-109 & FW-190 with an emphasis on Intercept and Ground Attack missions. We will also operate useing original WW2 Luftwaffe tactics, formations & radio procedures so that you will get as close to that "feeling" of actually flying the missions as you can get.
JG -3 UDET will fly Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00pm EST in the CT Arena (Depending on terrain). We will also fly in the Special Event Scenarios AH has from time to time if there is enough interest among the squad's pilots.
We also hold an informal Practice Scession every Sunday night at 9:00 pm EST in the TA or DA.
JG-3's goals are to become no less than the #1 squad in Aces High. At the same time we are out to have fun with our hobby - that is the MAIN goal.
What's in it for me you ask?
1. As this is a newly forming squad, Leadership positions are open and you can get in at the ground level.
2. Training will always be available for any "Newbys" who would like to join. No experience necessary. Just bring a willingness to learn and work within the team.
3. You will be able to input your ideas for operations and missions to be flown by the squad.
4. You will always have someone there to help watch your 6 and to clear you if you get into trouble.
5. Your own personalized A/C on the squad webpage with your nose art.
6. There is a dedicatated Command Structure in place for the squad. Rank, leadership positions and awards have to be EARNED. They are not just freely given out.
7. Your kill streaks and awards displayed on the squadron kill board for all to see.
8. Access to the Squad Forum on the AH BBS where information on all subjects are exchanged.
9. Lastly flying with a squad will increase your flying experence by 100%.

Guys, if you are SERIOUS about a joining a squadron, or joining one for the first time I highly recommend you come on board with JG 3 "Udet". It is a new squadron that is run by veteran leaders who are fair, honest, firm, and informative, no "learn while you fly" here. We have plans for a couple of 109 flights as well as a 190 flight with a long term goal of having a true bomber flight. So if you are considering a squadron, trust me, LOOK NO FURTHER!! The squadron you are looking for is here...JG 3!!!!! HORRIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jagdgeschwader 3 "UDET" is still recruiting.
Many leadership or regular slots are still available.
We are accepting veteran or newby pilots, if you need training we will provide it.

You must be 18 years of age.
You must be able to transmit and receive via AH Voice.
You must be able to make the Squad nights,
Tue & Thur 10:00pm EST.
You have a serious intrest in flying with the squad but be ready to have a lot of fun at the same time.

We fly only CT, yes. I've been with the squad for 4 or 5 months now and we've yet to fly something in the SE, but we might sometime? Its hard to say.

If you've ever wondered how those Luftwaffe planes seem to always be one step ahead of you, this is the place to learn why!
Luftwaffe planes require a very different approach to fighting, but once learned, you will never go back! This squad offers a VERY rewarding experience, you will learn to fly those planes, and get kills like the "experten"! We follow a strict code of conduct, while also allowing some freedom in fights, and you will have someone to clear your 6 when you get in too deep. If you have never flown with a squad before, you will find out that it is the best experience you can have in Aces High. And for those who have past squads, you will enjoy the teamwork and co-ordination within JG3.
Take your pick, 190 or 109, either way, you're in for a treat!

I'd be real interested if not for the 10 pm SN thing. That's 4 am here. ;)
Tell me, are there any real opposition in the CT on your SNs? Seems the numbers are too low most nights.

Yes, we usually have plenty of opposition in VF-27, 325th FG & 880 Sq. FAA just to name a few of the major groups. We always seem to be able to find a good fight without any problems.
TUE & THUR nights is the squad nights for a lot of the squads based on US time. Usually one of the busiest times in the CT.
We have two members from the UK in the squad, realize 4am your time is early but if you want to fly with us you're more than welcome. Drop me an e-mail.
