I got pretty good at this in WarBirds over the 6 years I was there. Turned many a kill into captures and actually saved a good number of planes ditching on or near a friendly field. Needless to say, since I am writing this, my results aren't as good here :) HEEEEELP!
So far I learned how to "Buff" here. Learned how to get a Hvy Corsair off the rolling carrier Deck. And went " Oh OK!! on a half-dozen other subjects. You guys are great!
Thanks for any info and help. It is appreciated.

PS: If I missed something I should have read, please point it out. I'm not always "The Sharpest Tool In The Shed". :)

Whats the question?
-
How to ditch? Just land really really slow.. about 90-100 mph, and ease it in. Ditching is no problem in AH.
-
Just be warned that ditching sometimes will give a nearby enemy a proximity kill, even if you don't have any damage.

Hmmm....Yeah the question is how to ditch? I try to come in verry slow. I've tried with flaps 1 notch and 2 notches plane dependant. At the last second before contact I try to lift the nose a bit. Bang, back to tower.
Ok, I'll keep trying)

Touch down at under 500fpm descent, at under 125mph and you'll be fine.
-
Go slow and easy before you land. It maybe be easier to try it on water first, then move to trying it on land.
PS - dont do it around trees, rocks, or anything that isnt flat level surface. Also applies to the tank traps.

Shouldn't be a problem anymore the trees are now harmless since update :D
